The saddest thing is that most evenings throughout the week, this is all I see of my beautiful girl. I usually wake her up early as I am getting ready for work and we watch Spongebob while Mommy is still asleep(she thinks its trash, but we love how silly it is). In preparation for an upcoming shoot, I headed out to the selected location to do some recon. I have been to the Austin Botanical Gardens a dozen times or so this year but I feel it is necessary to be as prepared as possible. I find it intriguing how the absence of color can change the feeling of a photograph. To take away color, that would technically help better define an image, is to enhance the drama or character of it. I am usually drawn to the crisp colors and sharply detailed images birthed by digital advances and enhancement, but have rarely come across any of those that evoke emotion like so of good B&Ws.

I have yet to decide what field of photography I am actually most interested in. I love to photgraph everything.
